Numerator is looking for an Engineer to join our DataWarehouse (DwH) team. As part of our DwH team, you will be a vital member ensuring on-going excellence in delivery of our data pipelines/ETL. You will be responsible for the development ,maintenance and support of our data pipelines and Data warehouse, as well as work on on-going improvements and extensions to Snowflake/Data governance/Data.
What You’ll get to do
Development of data pipelines/ETL , Data Warehouse , code as infrastructure
Work with stakeholders to identify bugs and recommend mitigating solutions.
Collaborate with our cross-functional team to build data pipelines.
Maintaining the system in general and on-call bug-fixing
Writing SQL queries
Tech Stack
Backend: Python , SQL , Jinja
Celery, Airflow
Data Warehouse: Snowflake , DBT
Infrastructure: AWS EC2, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform
Have around 1 year of experience as a Data engineer or backend developer.
Programming experience in Python, or another object-oriented language.
An eagerness to learn new things, and improve upon existing skills, abilities, and practices.
Experience with databases, SQL or NoSQL.
Knowledge in an Agile software development environment,
Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc..).
Have a real passion for clean code and finding elegant solutions to problems.
Motivation to participate in ongoing learning and growth through pair programming, test-driven development, code reviews, and application of new technologies and best practices.
You look ahead to identify opportunities and foster a culture of innovation.
BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker development
Nice to haves
Experience with REST services and API design.
Programming experience on Unix based infrastructure.
Knowledge of cloud-based systems (EC2, EKS, etc..).
Expertise with big data, analytics, and personalization.
Start-up or CPG industry experience.
