Tripleseat Corporate Event Manager in United States

As our Corporate Event Manager, you will be the driving force behind strategizing, overseeing, and executing our events. This includes proprietary-hosted events, sponsored conferences, industry sponsorships, and internal events. Your expertise in event management will ensure that each event meets and exceeds our business objectives.

This role will be an in-office role based in our Concord, MA office. We do have flexible work from home options. Remote location may be available. Ability to travel up to 25%.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with key partners to develop and synchronize event strategies, ensuring they align with our business objectives.

  • Project Planning and Management: Craft detailed event project plans and conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure on-time, within-budget event execution.

  • Venue Sourcing: Scout and secure innovative venues and locations to create memorable experiences for upcoming events.

  • Contract Negotiation and Execution: Manage all aspects of event contracts, from negotiation to execution, for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences.

  • Event Execution: Oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of internal and client-facing events, including industry conferences and trade shows, from pre-event communications to post-event follow-ups.

  • Post-Event Analysis: Generate insightful post-event reports using data-driven metrics, including attendee feedback and goal attainment, to recommend improvements for future events.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Develop and manage detailed project plans for each event, coordinating seamlessly with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

  • ROI Evaluation: Assist in evaluating the return on investment for all events, ensuring each aligns with and supports our overarching business goals.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in event management, with a focus on corporate events.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Certified Meeting Planner a plus

  • Demonstrated success in managing a variety of events, including large-scale conferences, trade shows, and intimate gatherings.

  • Experience in handling high-profile, client-facing events with meticulous attention to detail and professionalism.

  • Strategic, Project and Budget Management: Develop and execute event strategies aligned with business objectives; manage projects to deliver events on time and within budget.

  • Negotiation and Vendor Management: Exceptional negotiation skills for securing favorable terms; manage vendor contracts and relationships.

  • Organizational and Multitasking Abilities: Superior organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously without compromising quality.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels; strong leadership to manage and motivate teams.

  • Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Attendease, Cvent) and Microsoft Office; strong analytical skills to evaluate event performance and ROI.

  • Adaptability and Creativity: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly adjusting to changes; ability to create unique and memorable event experiences.
