The Construction Project Coordinator will be a critical member of the Engineering Services North America Customer Fulfillment team and will be responsible for assisting with the Construction Management for our fulfillment locations across North America. They will be responsible for successful implementation of Amazon and industry best practices while tracking and managing schedules and budgets, support various data collections requirements while demonstrating achievements through metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and value creation.

The Construction Project Coordinator will work virtually, supporting this remote organization. Travel to locations may be required as needed to support various initiatives and responsibilities. Territories of responsibility may include the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Singapore and select international locations.

Key job responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for Preconstruction Managers on retrofit projects, initiatives and daily tasks

• Compile and organize project updates, financials and schedules in a reportable format

• Engage with key stakeholders, including internal Amazon teams and customers and General Contractors, for project support, project reporting and related tasks

• Compile pertinent metric information and publish to program leadership on a weekly basis

• Act as the central hub for managing changes affecting the different programs supported. This includes attending critical project meetings, staying connected to project activity in the field and communicating issues to the wider program network

• Perform all responsibilities in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

• Support data management, migration and tool use

• 20% expected and up to 60% travel

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
