OVERVIEW
Cadrex’s Chief of staff is a vital link between executives and everyday operations. This role will be crucial guiding Cadrex’s day-to-day rhythm and priorities while teaming up with the executive leadership team. The Chief of Staff will guide the team by providing hands-on support to improve company performance and enhance the company’s goals. This role combines comprehensive vision with a detail-oriented approach, making it a pivotal function for Cadrex’s success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
An adjunct member of Cadrex’s executive team, this role is directly involved in delivering Cadrex’s strategic business priorities
Acts as the CEO’s personal timekeeper, orchestrating their schedule and planning essential travel
Create an enterprise wide, year at a time calendar of significant internal meetings, customer events, and CORE events. Update and drive ELT participation and materials creation for these events
Acts on behalf of the CEO to keep strategic priorities moving by bringing key stakeholders to the table. Influence team members to stay on track for key deliverables
Attend all ELT meetings to be involved with executive planning and prioritizing
Act as a sounding board to the CEO for strategy and key initiatives within the company
Proactively look for opportunities for the CEO to use his/her platform to influence the organization to achieve strategic priorities
Prepare risk analysis and mitigation strategies for critical business decisions
Complete special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support
Identify areas of improvement across the organization
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in business management, project management, or a similar role preferred
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data to provide actionable insights
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
5+ years of experience before MBA preferred
Advanced excel knowledge
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in related field
MBA preferred
LOCATION
- Ideally the successful candidate will be within driving distance within an hour driving distance of a major airport. Preference for candidates in central US due to integration with other Cadrex functions. Candidates will be able to work remotely.
