Location: Plano, TX/ Richmond, VA/ Hybrid Description:
The open role is Business Control Specialist in Change Governance team.
The role provides governance and controls to Permit to Operate process which is used for controls around significant tech changes.
Key responsibilities:
Engagement with all GT FLU change leaders for supporting Permit workflow
Coordination with Permit participating policies control owners
Analyze policies to ensure Permit controls are covering requirements for significant deployments
Ensure effective written procedures and ensures accurate and updated documentation
Work with second line Risk partners as required to ensure continued signoff from Risk partners on our procedures and documentation
Participate in various Change forums to ensure Change Community is kept updated with any changes/updates to the tech deployment process
Required Skills:
Owns process, design and execution of Change controls related to significant tech deployments
Work on the day-to-day issues, queries from FLUs, Change partners and prioritizing the matters for discussions
Serves as the subject matter expert for the process with stakeholders to include Risk, Audit
Ensures comprehensive procedures reflecting end to end process
Defines controls and measures performance of process on monthly/quarterly basis
Executes appropriate governance routines, to ensure key stakeholder debate and discussion of process execution, risks, etc.
Assesses process performance, emerging risks, themes from process deviations, etc. to identify and implement enhancements to the process
Maintains a holistic understanding of systems/tools supporting Change process
Pro-actively understanding responsibilities and manage tasks independently
Supports change management deliverables and project documentation (issue/risk logs, status reports, requirements documentation, design documentation, project plans).
Establish and maintain effective communication with team members and other key stakeholders
Desired skills/experience: Knowledge/Experience with Enterprise change management tools such as PPRT, CECE, GCAPR, ITSM.
