The opportunity.

We are looking for an ambitious self-starter and team player with business development experience in enterprise B2B software solutions. You’ll target Executive/C-Suite contacts in IT, Data, and compliance across Banking, Insurance, Government, and Technology sectors. The role will have a strong focus on meeting setting and opportunity creation in net new accounts as well as supporting Field Marketing’s efforts. Your success in this position depends on excellent prospecting, email and phone skills and the ability to quickly assess potential opportunities through discovery and qualification, uncovering business needs through thoughtful questioning.

What you’ll be doing.

  • Develop a deep understanding of strategic enterprise account plans, maintaining close communication with enterprise account executives to build appropriate outbound strategies

  • Qualify cold leads and marketing leads based on established criteria to book meetings with target prospects, noting each prospect's set of business needs and use case(s)

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos with prospects and stakeholders, ensuring a smooth handover process for meetings booked with our enterprise sales team

  • Meet monthly and quarterly goals relating to driving event attendance, meetings held, and opportunities influenced

  • Keep detailed records of interactions and progress in Quantexa’s CRM

  • Identify key personas within target accounts, including professionals in IT, data, compliance, fraud detection among others.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Quantexa’s products

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop tailored strategies for engaging with target personas and accounts

  • Proactively reach out to prospects through various channels such as email, phone calls, and social media

  • Conduct thorough research on target accounts and industries to identify opportunities for growth

  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams based on insights gathered from interactions with prospects

  • Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics relevant to assigned accounts.

  • The role is based in the ET timezone with occasional travel.

Requirements

What you’ll bring.

  • A consistent history of meeting and exceeding objectives around meeting setting and opportunity creation

  • A high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and professionalism with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational, planning and execution skills

  • Tenacity to maintain high volumes of calls and emails

  • Exceptional active listening and presentation skills

  • 8+ months of business development or inside sales experience

  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot)

  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Navigator a plus but not required
