Responsibilities:

• Grow the department's volume of Controls business with the sale of JCI and Honeywell Direct Digital Control systems.

• Plan and specification bidding for building automation opportunities.

• Cultivation of bidding opportunities with medium and large mechanical contractors without controls groups in their business model.

• Works to develop trust and alignment with Service and Construction Sales teams. Be a bridge between departments and will be a key person to BUILD the business.

• Cultivation of new and existing customer in the owner direct market.

• Develop department branding and controls sales opportunities within the Service customer base.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies.

• Work with the BAS design team to develop Controls estimates.

• Responsible for quotes to the customers and the presentations thereof.

• Responsible for obtaining vendor quotes for sub-contractors.

• Work with Moore's pre-construction estimators when required.

  Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Thorough knowledge of the BAS/Controls trade a plus

• Sales and estimating experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Works well with individuals at all levels of the business

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Highly analytical and detail-oriented

• Excellent computer skills including email etiquette, scheduling software, Microsoft products, etc.

• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
