Responsibilities:
Grow the department's volume of Controls business with the sale of JCI and Honeywell Direct Digital Control systems.
Plan and specification bidding for building automation opportunities.
Cultivation of bidding opportunities with medium and large mechanical contractors without controls groups in their business model.
Works to develop trust and alignment with Service and Construction Sales teams. Be a bridge between departments and will be a key person to BUILD the business.
Cultivation of new and existing customer in the owner direct market.
Develop department branding and controls sales opportunities within the Service customer base.
Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies.
Work with the BAS design team to develop Controls estimates.
Responsible for quotes to the customers and the presentations thereof.
Responsible for obtaining vendor quotes for sub-contractors.
Work with Moore's pre-construction estimators when required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Thorough knowledge of the BAS/Controls trade a plus
Sales and estimating experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Works well with individuals at all levels of the business
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Highly analytical and detail-oriented
Excellent computer skills including email etiquette, scheduling software, Microsoft products, etc.
Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
