Northeast Family Services is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Massachusetts to support the agency’s mission and core values!
The Assistant Vice President of Massachusetts is a Licensed Clinician (LICSW or LMHC) who, in partnership with the executive team, works collaboratively to help oversee services including Outpatient, In-Home Therapy (CBHI) and other programs as they are developed and assigned within the state of Massachusetts.
The AVP is responsible for the effective management of services including oversight of quality, compliance, outcomes, staffing safety, service delivery, and financial performance. The AVP will help to create and implement a region-wide behavioral health system across the continuum of care and will have oversight and management responsibilities over behavioral health options.
The AVP is a data-driven leader who will partner with Program Directors and the QA team to ensure productivity and quality of care standards are met. This position will be the main contact between the VP of Massachusetts and the assigned state Program Directors.

AVP Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field
Independent clinical licensure: LICSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts Required
At least five years of experience in the management of behavioral health operations in a behavioral health setting
An in-depth working knowledge of administration and operations with a strong emphasis on, and an understanding of, financial management, strategic planning, client care, quality assessment and improvement, risk management, employee relations and human resource management
Knowledge of CBHI regulations required
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the state of Massachusetts; valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
Experience with networking and starting up programs is preferred
Data-driven, results-oriented leader with strong management skills
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Understanding of Massachusetts's service array and needs of the community
Ability to assist with the discovery and development of grants, contracts and related tasks
Ability to manage multiple programs and/or service systems
