• Provide the FLC Commanders assessments of  Regional Inventory Accuracy Officer (RIAO) effectiveness in implementation of NWCF – SM controls, policies and procedures, providing training and remediation strategy/coordination support to the RIAO as necessary

• Perform inventory accuracy analysis through testing, identification of key control failures through review of Key Supporting Documents(KSDs)/Management Review Controls (MRCs)

• Perform root cause/trend analysis of Lines of Efforts (LOEs) through review of Measure of Performance (MOP) submissions to support efforts in mitigating testing exceptions

• Based on the above mentioned analysis and policy revisions, the embedded analyst will provide training to exceptions identified in testing and MOP reviews as well as provide on-site or virtual support in SUP18, FLC, and IPA led tests.

• Support the FLC regional remediation in alignment with NAVSUP’s Audit Campaign Plan and longer term inventory remediation strategy

• Work with Regional Inventory Accuracy Officers to provide ongoing training and monitor testing to verify test plans are effective, and results are accurate. Accompany RIAOs to plants within FLC Areas of Responsibility and perform the following:

• Inventory Validity Testing (book-to-floor, floor-to- book)

• Inventory Controls Testing

• Management Review Testing

• Participate in meetings and discussions at NAVSUP’s request, interacting with auditors and other organizations

• Assess field plant progress, monitoring how well they are adhering to key processes and controls, and providing recommendations for process improvements, training and addressing questions

• Maintain ongoing communication with NAVSUP HQ and other FLC remediation staff to monitor progress and consistency across locations, sharing insights and observations
