Associate Scientist/Scientist, Data Analytics & HEOR

Job Summary

Our Scientists are responsible for providing a strong scientific perspective and contributing to HEOR study design and methodology, data analysis, and SAS statistical programming across our research groups (real-world evidence, modeling & meta-analysis, and patient-centered outcomes), using patient-level datasets such as administrative claims, government data-stets, patient-reported outcomes (PRO) data, clinical trial data, registries, physician or patient surveys and/or other observational studies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing HEOR studies using a variety of data sources

  • Developing clear and concise study protocols, analysis plans, and reports

  • Providing scientific direction for and/or directly conducting advanced data analysis, statistical model development, and SAS programming

  • Identifying and developing methodologies and strategies in partnership with project teams

  • Mentoring and providing QC for junior team members in advanced analysis using SAS programming

  • Managing client interactions and outreach to ensure exceptional client satisfaction

  • Adhering to project budgets and timelines

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience conducting data analytics/HEOR studies, preferably in a consulting environment

  • PhD in pharmaceutical and health outcomes, public health, epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, or a related field

  • Strong data analytic proficiency using SAS (advanced skills required), other languages a plus (R, or similar programming language)

  • Managing multiple projects successfully with scientific rigor

  • Intellectual curiosity and independence to include the ability to self-start and self-teach

  • Proactivity, responsiveness, and the ability to balance shifting priorities to ensure that timelines and objectives are met and expectations are exceeded

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to forge and effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to prepare and present relevant summaries of complex materials

  • Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Proficient in MS365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

Travel Requirements

  • 5% potential global travel
