New York University Associate Research Scientist (Part Time) in United States

This role will involve working on the development of an AI based solution for a vocal project. Both front end and backend development will be required. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Coding, Testing, Statistical analysis, Machine Learning, Visualization, Documentation development, and UI development.

The job duties for this position require minimal in-person interaction and can be performed remotely >60% of the time (i.e., more than 3 days per week).

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly salary range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. The employee who takes on this role can expect to work 20 hours per week.

In addition to a Bachelor's degree, qualifications include a strong knowledge of Python, ML, AI, and statistics. Experience of applying ML to scientific data is preferred. Experience with both front and back end development is also preferred.
