The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) invites applications for a new tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. As an interdisciplinary research University with global impact, we seek talented, ambitious individuals from diverse scientific backgrounds who will establish leading edge research programs. We particularly encourage candidates whose background and proposed research program includes the development and implementation of approaches that interface with living systems through novel materials and algorithms, microfluidics, controlled force sensing and actuation and related tools for probing and controlling biomolecular systems, cells, and tissues. Areas of specific interest include but are not limited to stem cell biology and organoids, micro physiological systems (MPS), organ-on-a-chip, biological microelectromechanical systems (Bio-MEMS), andin vitrodisease modeling and platform development for translational medicine.
The annual base salary range for this position is 150,000 -$200,000.
