MUFG Analyst / Assistant Vice President, Foreign Trade Department, Operations (12-Month Fixed Term Contract) in Kowloon, Hong Kong

Key responsibilities

  • Handling of Export Bills Payment drawn under LC and/or Non-LC, LC Bills Negotiation, Bills Purchase, etc and other miscellaneous works of day-to- day bank trade operations

  • Assist superior to maintain a smooth running of the daily routine.

  • Ensure daily activity of team is fully complied with the AML controls, bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Complete and follow different types of transaction checklist to ensure customers credit status and prevent bank loss.

  • Assist senior to evaluate and analyze current operations procedure and reduce unnecessary time and financial cost.

  • Provide support to Marketing Department to maintain customer relationships and satisfy customers’ expectations efficiently.

  • Cooperative with the colleague in the team and maintain good team spirit and be willing to learn through on-job training.

  • Cross Team support in case of need.

Job requirements

  • Sound knowledge in area of trade finance products and its related rules eg. UCP, ISBP, Incoterms, Swift standard

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English and Chinese in terms of both writing and verbal communication skills

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience

  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated

  • Attention to details and adherence to strict rules, standards and deadline

  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel
