Agile Coach Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Description: As a requirement to the role that they must be SPC Certified Roles & Responsibilities: Facilitate learning and development through individual, team and senior management coaching in agile practices to ensure adoption of best practices. Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model across the organization, working to empower business leaders in key Agile roles at all layers of the organization. Can proactively identify the most valuable mentoring & coaching opportunities. Coaching objectives include: Working with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile best practices. Guiding teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met. Leading teams to diagnose and resolve complex business challenges. Undertaking daily follow-ups with individual team members to ensure projects are on track and goals are being met Holding stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams to review project status Supporting teams in determining the resource allocation to maintain agile practices and ensure smooth project delivery Lead and/or facilitate training sessions and workshops (virtually and in-person) for both development and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders, aimed at rolling out and sustaining department-wide adoption of Lean-Agile methodologies, with particular focus on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum and Kanban delivery. Training will include introductory, advanced, and role-specific training to further the organization’s agile practice. Able to train using SAFe’s prescribed material as well as put together own material to support specific training/overview requests (using tools such as MS Teams, PowerPoint, WebEx and Miro) Define, create, and support implementation of: (in partnership with Agile Transformation team leadership and other coaches) Training, learning and development strategies Delivery plans Agile maturity assessments Agile improvement backlogs Advanced trainer plans Solution roadmaps Collaborate with Program and teams to support creation and evolution of the Agile transformation roadmap and drive Agile activities across the team/organization in accordance with Program transformation strategy. Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and being accountable for them. Align, define, and socialize strategy in agile work management tooling, including delivering training and coaching business colleagues to use tools (Miro, Rally, Retrospective tools). Develops and tracks key metrics to help in speeding the Agile transformation efforts and gauge the maturity of the teams. Lead working groups to meet transformation deliverables such as identifying a standard set project metrics, revising project templates, setting upcommunities of practice and updating processes. Work with the team to create a plan to meet deliverables, facilitate meetings, track progress and action items, take minutes and update wikis. Qualification: Verifyable High School Diploma or GED Required Yes Duties Experience: Ideal Candidate will have at minimum 5 years of hands on Agile program delivery experience. Driving agile transformations within large enterprise organizations is highly preferred where a candidate has helped construct programs from the ground up, supported planning sessions and formulated an roadmap for ongoing training. Would also prefer candidates who have served as scrum masters, RTE's and/or Product managers or owners so as to fully understand and appreciate the roles in practice. Position Summary: An Agile practitioner to join our Digital Experience team. This team is a part of company's internal marketing agency of 150+ folks (and growing!), and its mission is to design & deliver the optimal marketing experience for a member or provider partner, applying modern design thinking principles & methodologies to deliver a simple, pleasant and frictionless experience. We believe in thinking beyond our category when it comes to defining a best-in-class digital experience, including in how we strategically explore emerging design & technology practices to determine how they might be leveraged to enhance the member experience. Ultimately, everything our team concepts we make, turning our ideas into testable things our end users can see, touch and interact with. In service of this mission, the Agile practitioner is responsible for deftly applying Agile principles and Scrum & Kanban frameworks to help direct exciting digital creative projects. As such, the ideal candidate is able to play two roles as needed: As a Scrum Master on projects that are managed in the Scrum framework, and as a Digital Producer managing work in a less-structured (but still Agile) Kanban environment. Our Agile teams can include the Scrum Master / Digital Producer, Product Owners or Account Managers, and a cross-functional Delivery Team composed of UX/UI designers, copywriters, proofreaders and Ops/AEM Authors. For our Scrum projects, each Scrum team interfaces and collaborates with a separate development Scrum Team (who has their own Scrum Master), so Scrum Masters with experience and comfort working in a cross-team manner are preferred. This role requires a broad blend of experience and passionate interest in creative development, technology, process & workflow management, project management methodologies and Agile coaching. Education: You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 3+ years in an applicable digital marketing, product or agency environment, and Scrum Master certification. The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
