Job Summary: The Accounting Manager position is responsible for all supervisory, and oversight responsibilities including planning, assigning, and evaluating the work of all members of the core accounting transactions team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct all members of the Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management Team.

  • Assist in the documentation of current accounting processes and procedures. Recommend changes to greater efficiencies for payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with key roles throughout the business.

  • Monitor, review, and implement procedures for improvements to internal controls with special attention to cash relating to payroll and accounts payable.

  • Monitor and coordinate the informational flow between HR and Accounting.

  • Assist with the coordination of all outside audits for Financial, 401k, ESOP, and CGL.

  • Assist with the process of all year-end reports including W-2, and 1099 reporting.

  • Monitor cash requirements for processing payments, and cash receipts.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or 5+ years of accounting management experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication, both written and verbal; works well with individuals at all levels of the business.

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and accounting software.

  • Able to work individually with a teamwork mindset

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
