AON Vice President, Clinical Consultant - Health Transformation in Virtual, Texas

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Vice President, Clinical Consultant - Health Transformation within our National Health Transformation Team (HTT).

The National Health Transformation Team is part of Aon’s Human Capital US practice. We are looking for an experienced consultant with a desire and ability to create and support overall population health solutions for employers! The clinical team consists of population health experts and clinicians that consult with clients to identify gaps and integrated care opportunities and deliver solutions to improve health outcomes, the member experience, and reduce costs.

This is a virtual/hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our US offices.

What the day will look like

The HTT works with Aon employer clients nationally and globally to support and solve for their clinical and delivery system needs. We serve as subject matter experts on client engagements, projects, strategy design, sales, and tool/solution development. Our days are spent meeting with and delivering solutions for employer clients and collaborating internally across Aon’s business units to improve health, affordability, access, employee experience, safety, and productivity.

  • Develop, drive, and execute client facing projects focused on clinical interventions, health improvement initiatives, and success metric work

  • Ability to develop, lead, perform and oversee clinical consulting work streams including: clinical audits, enhanced care management solutions, high cost claimant reviews and solution sets

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external resources to identify critical product/tool/offer development opportunities to best meet the clinical and health improvement needs of our clients.

  • Create scalable solutions with the power of data analytics to provide evidence-based health solutions for clients that improve health and productivity while positively impacting the bottom line

  • Build effective marketing approaches to showcase these differentiators in the marketplace

  • Support creation and communication of thought leadership through the marketing of new products and tools

  • Collaborate delivery via articles, interviews, white papers, and speaking engagements

  • People management of other health transformation team members is a possibility and mentoring is expected.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum of 12 years of health industry and/or consulting experience

  • Demonstrated client, people, and business leadership

  • Clinical credentials (RN, PA, NP, MD, etc.)

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of new products and offerings

  • Deep health care knowledge, including strong knowledge of the health market and industry, plans, case management, utilization management, vendors, special interest groups, professional organizations

  • Knowledge and application of clinical, non-clinical and business measurement

  • Proven track record of successfully developing a consulting approach, creating the expert team, and disseminating out to market consultants

  • Strong people management skills

  • Broad-base thinker with solid understanding of the overall approach to population health for employers

  • Strong communication skills

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in health-related field with strong emphasis in clinical support

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $160,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Dallas, TX. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
