Personal Lines Account Executive / Broker Specialist II

Aon Private Risk Management (APRM) designs, implements, and services customized personal risk management strategies for High-Net-Worth individuals and families.

The Personal Lines Account Executive – Broker Specialist II will be responsible for supporting a team of Account Executives with the day-to-day account management and for broking of high-net-worth personal insurance programs. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions. You will report directly to the Associate Regional Director.

This is an East Coast virtual opportunity.

What the day will look like

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Account Executives by working to build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients and prospective clients.

  • Assists in leading appropriate resources to address the client/prospective client's risk needs, thereby assisting in the retention and growth of a profitable book of business.

  • Promotes the value that Aon delivers to clients through superior service, pricing, consultation, and reporting.

  • Assist with new business and remarketing of personal insurance programs for current clients.

  • Updating applications within our agency management system, quoting online with insurers, and completing coverage comparisons or proposals for the Account Executives in Microsoft Word PowerPoint or Excel.

  • Prepare and input summary of coverages for Account Executives.

  • Assist with conducting annual reviews for clients.

  • Process changes and endorsements within 48 hours of receipt. The time service standard: returning a phone call within 24 hours and responding to emails by the end of the day.

  • Assist the Account Executive with complex claim activity. Including contacting claims adjusters when necessary.

  • Assisting the Account Executive with client billing issues- including contacting the carrier and/or internal accounting team to coordinate, track, resolve billing/payment issues.

  • Access carrier websites/systems to process changes, retrieve documents and information as required.

  • Manages an assigned book of high-net worth personal insurance clients with personal insurance portfolios of varying size and complexity. May also include Group Excess Liability programs.

  • Works with Client Services team and assigned Coordinator to process changes and other client requests in a timely manner.

  • Engages internal and external resources as required in order to Empower Results on behalf of our clients.

  • The time service standard: returning a phone call within 24 hours and responding to email by the end of the day.

  • Develops and maintains meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients, referral sources and colleagues through regular contact and interaction.

  • Maintains awareness of all insurance carrier partner products, services and systems.

  • Fully utilizes internal client management system to maintain policies, client correspondence, coordinate billing activities and manage client related tasks.

  • Fosters innovative solutions to drive success for our clients.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    Required Experience:

  • Property & Casualty license required

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in high-net-worth personal insurance.

  • Experience and proficiency utilizing carrier management platforms (Chubb, PCS, PURE, Berkley One, Vault, Cincinnati, etc.)

  • Experience with Nexsure agency management system preferred.

  • Proficiency with the MicroSoft office suite products required.

  • Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools and create innovative solutions.

    Education:

  • CAPI, CPIRA, CPCU, CIC, or ARM completed or in process is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience is preferred.

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 to $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
