AON Customer Service Specialist I in Virtual, New York

Aon Affinity’s Travel Practice business group is located in Long Island, NY and is offering multiple opportunities to members of our extended community. We’d like to continue to get to know the neighborhood and help community members become part of a global industry-leading team.

Hours for this position: Weekdays 12pm-9pm EST, Saturday 9am-5pm EST.

You will have Sunday and one day off during the week which will remain consistant.

What your day will look like:

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner while meeting performance standards, which include average availability, talk time and call volume.

  • Our clients have questions! Be a resource to clients by extending superior service while providing them with information on their insurance coverage and assisting with additional inquiries.

  • Initiate claims and offer subsequent status information.

  • Flex your writing skills by drafting written responses to customer inquiries.

  • We offer multiple shifts to provide coverage for our national clients and will work with you to find a suitable shift for you!

    Skills and experience that will lead to success:

    Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or call center experience.

  • Ability to prioritize work flow and handle multiple claims simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to clients.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.

    Preferred Experience:

  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience working in a call center environment.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $35,000 to $40,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
