The Sr. Traffic Equipment Product Support provides technical field support and turn on support of all Iteris solutions offered in region, including but not limited to detection and ITS equipment. This position will require the employee to Install, program, troubleshoot and provide client training on Iteris and ITS equipment at the customer site as-well as remotely.

What you will be doing:

  • Work along side the sale team and assist when needed

  • Provide Turn on support, troubleshooting support. This includes on-site, remote and phone support when needed

  • Provide support of Iteris detection, other signal related and ITS devices

  • Support the maintenance and repair of Iteris detection equipment and ITS equipment overall that is managed through a maintenance/services contract

  • Ability to work in or around bucket trucks and work in roadways

  • Job is expected to be 90% in the field

  • Over night travel is around 50% and is dependent on the location and duration of a project

    What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Must be driven to provide the best service to the clients and customer of Iteris

  • IMSA Level III certification or ability to obtain

  • IMSA Work Zone Safety certification or ability to obtain

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as be a self starter

  • Eight (8) years minimum experience working with ITS equipment either for a manufacturer of ITS equipment or working at a municipality- Contractor in that capacity

  • Be proficient with Microsoft office(Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Acceptable driving record

  • Minimum of 8 years of field-level technical support of intersection traffic equipment (cabinets, controllers, detection, peripherals)

    Iteris anticipates paying between $80,000 and $95,000 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
