Job Overview

Komatsu is currently recruiting for a Welder to work at ourVirginia, MNlocation. This position is represented by a union.

• Hourly Wages $25.55 - $34.15

• Sign-on Incentive - $2,000.00

• Night Shift Differential - $4.00 per hour will be added to base wage rate for each hours worked.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Proficient at Carbon Arc Gouging

• Proficient with Oxy/Fuel Torch

• Understand Weld Symbols

• Certified Rigging

• Proficient at Print Reading

• Proficient at Fitting/Layout

• Must have experience with a variety of SMAW and FCAW welding electrodes.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis.

• Perform a variety of welding and cutting applications (including air arcing).

• Lay out and perform complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality.

• Assess equipment repair needs and developing repair processes.

• Troubleshoot, maintain and perform minor repairs to most assigned tooling; wire feeders and welding machines.

• Work in a diverse team environment.

• Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments.

• Must be able to wear a respirator or fresh air hood when required.
