Job Title: Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a tenured Architect who will take charge of designing and managing commercial projects. This role involves performing, directing, and supervising all aspects of architectural design services on multi-discipline building design projects of moderate to large scope for commercial and government facilities. You will direct a team of architectural staff, ensuring project quality. This position also offers the exciting opportunity to get involved in business development, marketing, and other company activities. Responsibilities include independently leading and executing projects, meeting with clients, managing the architectural portion of multi-discipline projects, supervising the teams' design and technical delivery, and leading discipline bidding and construction administration activities.

Hard Skills

  • 6-10 years of commercial experience

  • Project Management

  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD

Soft Skills

  • Ability to lead and execute projects of high complexity

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate, supervise, and integrate architectural design within multi-discipline teams

  • Quality assurance and control

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Virginia Beach, Virginia and some days remote.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be part of a team of approximately 15 architectural staff, working in a hybrid schedule.
