Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role primarily involves guiding the financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. The Controller will be expected to protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls and play a key role in the development of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing and analyzing of financial information in the Accounting Software Systems.

• Oversee the financial analysis of the company's performance and make necessary recommendations.

• Take charge of Team Management to ensure efficient operations within the finance department.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for various financial tasks and reports.

• Maintain open lines of communication with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

• Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.

• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.

• Implement financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements, identifying monetary resources, and developing action plans.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

• Manage CRM - Customer Relationship Manager to maintain and build relationships with clients. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proven track record of effective team management

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in client communications

• Strong background in Financial Analysis

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Prior experience in Financial Consulting

• Familiarity with CRM - Customer Relationship Manager software

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
