G.E. Mechanical LLC Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Systems in Vineland, New Jersey

Senior Project Manager - Mechanical SystemsResponsibilitiesQuantity take-offs, cost estimating, cost analysis, bid reviews and document management primarily for commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systemsCreating competitive and accurate estimates to achieve margin and financial targetsUtilize centralized cost estimating models to ensure current and strategic pricing data is used during all HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical proposal developmentFollow-up with potential clients to finalize the work agreementSchedule and manage resources (HVAC / plumbing manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitationsDevelop, coordinate and track mechanical project schedules for optimal project managementSupervise and interface with team members to ensure mechanical projects are delivered per estimates, as well as guiding technicians to provide necessary information to complete estimatesIdentify resources, assign workloads and manage schedules to ensure timely deliveries and project managementEvaluate progress and prepare detailed reportsEnsure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues related to HVAC and plumbing mechanical projectsProcess client invoicing promptlyGenerating leads and new customersEnsure that team work in compliance with company policies and proceduresMinimum Qualifications Education/ExperienceDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldOR 2 years' experience in project management and/or estimating in construction, mechanical, or related industryPreferred Qualifications3+ years' experience with HVAC and plumbing equipment estimates and project managementSkill and understanding in conceptual estimatingIn-depth understanding of estimating & construction procedures and material & project management principlesAbility to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan setsAdvanced understanding of risk managementExperience managing budgets and schedules for construction projectsAdvanced knowledge of estimating software, strategies and techniques* REWARDING YOUR PERFORMANCE * Competitive salary, commensurate with experienceCompany paid vacation and holidaysCompany health care, vision, & dental benefits401k plan with Company matchCompany paid life insuranceEducation and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completedEligible for performance and company-based bonusesG.E.
