Field Engineering Specialist Vineland, NJ (Must live within an hour of office).

The Company & Job Overview: Come work at Piercetek LLC, a robotic systems integrator in Vineland New Jersey. We are looking for a JR Field Service Engineering Technician with at least a minimum of Engineering and mechanical background to represent Piercetek as a system maters expert at our customers' sites. We are looking for individuals with industrial maintenance experience, a working knowledge of both mechanical systems, and a basic understanding of industrial control systems to install, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery in customer facilities. The goal is to drive service success by increasing customer satisfaction, customer retention, and profitability. What we expect of you as a Field Engineering Specialist: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Plan and execute a wide range of assembly, testing, and adjustments on machine assemblies, with a focus on electro-mechanical systems. Assist and guide customers with the installation, adjustment, and repair of equipment. Train customer personnel (and coworkers) on proper equipment operation. Fundamental control programming and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems. Follow all trade safety practices and procedures, as well as Piercetek standards. Inspect equipment installation to ensure that company guidelines and tolerances are met. Provide industrial equipment service at customer locations, including testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting as needed. Check specifications with various gauges, meters, and electrical testing equipment. Provide telephone technical support to customers, addressing and resolving questions and problems. Communicate with appropriate company employees about product issues to expedite problem resolution. Complete all required customer and company records and documentation. Maintain technical competence and stay up to date on industry developments.

Mandatory Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude and basic mechanical systems. Mathematics background. Computer Science with strong knowledge in (Algorithms and Data Structures).Advanced Computer literacy (Programming and Data Analysis). Know at least one computer language. Ability to work a variety of shifts and adapt to changing work schedules. Capability to recognize color-coded wiring and components. Willing to learn electrical control systems such as plc's and robot controllers. Willing to learn mechanical systems and drive components.

Requirements and skills: Must be able to travel across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Must have a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to go up and down stairs, climb ladders, and lie on the floor.
