Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University invites applications from outstanding educators for a full-time, 9-month, continuing non-tenure track faculty position with preparation and expertise as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Successful candidates will be expected to instruct our students in both the classroom and clinical setting during the Fall and Spring semesters; classroom and clinical teaching is also available during the Summer semester.

The University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.The successful candidate will:provide instruction in the classroom, clinical area, simulation laboratory, and online,advise and mentor students,guide student scholarly projects,participate in scholarly work,participate in recruitment, enrollment, and advisement activities for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner students,identify and coordinate clinical placements for students,maintain active engagement in the College, University, and professional community.Holds a doctoral degree in nursing or related field or will complete a doctoral degree within 3 years.Master's degree in nursing with appropriate specialty preparation.Current clinical experience in area of specialty.Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania.Certification in clinical area.Previous teaching experience in an academic nursing program or clinical setting.Teaching philosophy commensurate with Villanova University's mission and values.Evidence of scholarly productivity.Doctoral degree in nursing or related field.Applications must include a cover letter and resume/curriculum vitae.
