Villanova University's Department of Biology invites applications for a Continuing Non-Tenure-Track ASSISTANT TEACHING PROFESSOR position, beginning August 2025. Our new colleague will contribute to the vibrant curriculum of the department primarily in two ways -- teaching courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology for both biology majors and non-majors. We seek candidates whose teaching has prepared them to contribute to our department's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Applicants should have a Ph.D. Review of applications will begin 24 March 2025 and will continue until the position is filled.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Our new colleague will teach undergraduate courses that include Human Anatomy for Biology majors and Human Anatomy and Physiology for non-majors and will have the potential to develop and teach a course(s) in the Biology Department Curriculum in the future.
Minimum Qualifications:
- M.S in Biology or related field.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the University level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biology or related field is preferred. Applications from M.D. (or equivalent) degree holders will also be considered.
- Experience teaching in and managing multi-section courses
- Experience in personnel management, including graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants
- Experience in LMS and course-specific software (such as Blackboard and McGraw Hill Connect)
