BASF’s Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance on a wide range of production equipment. This includes tasks such as maintaining pneumatic and mechanical conveying systems, combustion and burner management systems, pneumatic control systems, 480 VAC distribution systems, analog and digital instrumentation, process control system troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance, variable frequency drives, and instrument and control valve calibration and repairs.

During your shift as an Electrician, you will

• Comprehend prints and drawings including P&IDs, loop drawings, single lines, and logic drawings.

• Plan, design, fabricate, and install minor electrical and instrument projects.

• Operate and use calibration equipment and instrumentation.

• Safely use and operate hand tools, powered hand tools, and other industrial maintenance tools.

• Perform minor mechanical maintenance tasks including but not limited to installation and alignment of small to medium size motors, belt replacements, equipment lubrications, filter replacements, and other minor mechanical tasks.

• Assist mechanical maintenance technicians as required.

If you...

• Have a HS Diploma or GED with 5 years of industrial electrical/instrumentation experience or similar maintenance experience

• Can lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.

• Are willing and able to work 12-hour shifts on occasion

• Are willing and able to work on call during off hours including nights/weekends/holidays
