We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program Analyst – Junior. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and initiatives related to advanced computing systems. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to projects that push boundaries and capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest and a desire to develop skills in program analysis within a dynamic and complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in preparing and organizing materials for technical presentations and journals, developing skills in data visualization and technical writing.

  • Identifies and reports potential problems, communication breakdowns, and information gaps to senior team members, learning to propose initial solutions.

  • Supports the organization and management of lab-wide workflows, gaining understanding of EOY acquisition planning and program execution processes.

  • Learns about financial and budgetary execution, assisting in basic data collection and analysis for budget reports.

  • Familiarizes self with acquisition requirements, shadowing senior staff to understand technical, administrative, contractual, and legal approval processes.

  • Tracks purchases through the procurement lifecycle, ensuring accuracy in data entry and developing skills in inventory management systems.

  • Assists in preparing, reviewing, and organizing property authorization, accountability documents, and learning compliance requirements.

  • Participates in team meetings, contributing ideas for process improvements and developing professional communication skills.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in relevant software tools and databases, continuously expanding technical skills through training and hands-on experience.

  • Works closely with senior analysts to learn best practices, with a focus on attention to detail and developing analytical thinking skills.

  • Engages in ongoing training to build knowledge of program analysis techniques and operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must have educational degree from an Accredited Institution and relevant years of experience.

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree - 0 years of experience

  • Associate's Degree - 2 years of experience

  • or High School Diploma 4 years of experience.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management

  • Experience in program coordination or project management preferred

  • Familiarity with high-performance computing environments is a plus
