Job Duties and Responsibilities Overall responsibility for production processes, meeting production deadlines and managing the manufacturing function. This position is expected to help set the vision and execute strategic plans and direction, lead change efforts, and motivate teams to achieve established goals. Responsible for inventory control and levels. Authority to hire and fire employees subject to company policies. Authority to place purchase requisitions as needed for the day to day operation of the plant. Perform general warehouse duties, material handling, and packaging. Drive company trucks as directed to make deliveries to local customers, to fill in for out-of-state deliveries as needed, or perform other company business. Deliver goods to customers while maintaining professional demeanor including appropriate language, attire and attitude. Daily vehicle inspections and maintain log sheets.
