Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in our non-profit organization based in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The selected candidate will be instrumental in streamlining our accounting processes, enhancing our internal controls, and driving financial forecasting. This role will also involve developing financial metrics to aid in business management.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Proactively respond to and resolve customer inquiries

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action

• Prepare consolidated bank reports monthly, including borrowing base and fixed charge coverage calculations

• Develop and update weekly consolidated cash forecasting models, providing commentary on weekly changes

• Drive initiatives for automation of accounting processes

• Identify and address bottlenecks within the accounting department, creating dashboards or new reports for improved efficiency

• Develop exception reporting mechanisms to enhance internal controls

• Perform gross margin and other analyses for monthly financial bridge reporting

• Develop predictive financial metrics to assist in business management.

Salary: $95-115k

• Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms

• Mastery of Crystal Reports

• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques

• Familiarity with About Time software

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Proven experience in Auditing

• Solid knowledge of Budget Processes

• Experience in Capital Management
