Description:

TEKsystems is searching for a Azure Data Engineer with extensive experience with Azure Service Bus to join a risk technology team responsible for developing solutions on the cloud platform and be at the forefront of our clients on-prem to cloud migration initiative. The Azure Cloud Engineer strategizes, designs, develops and work with a team of dynamic and passionate data engineers to deliver automated cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions. This role is also responsible for complex interface process development, troubleshooting issues, supporting weekend maintenance and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Will build data integration pipelines from Workday (and potentially other platforms) into the SOE (systems of engagement) layer that is being built in Mongo Atlas. These resources should have experience in the core data engineering technologies the team is currently using as part of the original SOE engagement, (e.g., ASB, Logic/Function Apps), Mongo Atlas, as well as C# skills to help build the system API’s.

• Seamless integration with On-prem databases and reports to cloud.

• Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks in Azure cloud platform.

QUALIFICATIONS

• IT professional experience in Azure Cloud with over 5+ years of Azure Development

• Ability to recreate existing legacy application logic and functionality into Azure Databricks/Data Lake, SQL Database and SQL Datawarehouse environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with software configuration management tools such as Git/Gitlab

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Azure DevOps

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps & Automation/Orchestration

• Knowledge of open source software solutions and open source as a business model

• Technical breadth across application development, enterprise architecture, or application integration

• Understanding of Agile methodology

• Knowledge of APIs, API Integration, and API Management
