Lighthouse Youth & Family Therapy Registered Behavior Technician in VERNAL, Utah
Part time work with children on the autism spectrum. Work is one-on-one in-home and in ABA center. Willing to pay for the 40 hour training for you to become a registered behavior technician if hired. Pay is $15 an hour or more depending on experience. The role of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to provide in home and community-based ABA services to Lighthouse Youth & Family Therapy, LLC clients. This includes the implementation of treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, feeding, assisted daily living (ADLs) and social skills. It will be the responsibility of the RBT to monitor the progress of a treatment plan and work closely with the BCBA to update the treatment plan as necessary. Our BCBA's are local and not over telehealth. We currently have one opening in Vernal.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community-based environments
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan
Collect skill acquisition and behavior reduction data
Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals
Applies feedback and training on ABA job performance given by BCBA
Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
Participate in appropriate supervision meetings, team meetings, and trainings.
Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times to acquire further knowledge
