In this exciting role, you\'ll harness your expertise to manage key subcontracts and sub-contract manufacturers, focusing on the mechanical, machining, wire harness, and CCA commodities. Your mission: forge powerful supplier partnerships that meet the exacting standards of quality, service, and cost efficiency demanded by Raytheon Technologies and Collins Aerospace.\

We\'re looking for a standout professional with an in-depth understanding of AS9100, AS9102, and ISO 9001, combined with a robust background in lean techniques. Your ability to drive lean improvement initiatives with suppliers will spark transformative operational and quality advancements across our supply base.\

This role offers an exciting mix of responsibilities, including leading Manufacturing Process Reviews, conducting Root Cause investigations, and representing Collins Supplier Quality in critical program reviews.   • ?Expertly analyze and interpret complex technical requirements, including electronics, motors, machined components, and missile program directives
  • Strategically lead and manage Manufacturing Process Review activities with suppliers to ensure compliance and quality standards
  • Develop and deliver high-level quality data presentations to senior leadership and customer representatives within the CAB framework
  • Assess and resolve nonconformances associated with supplier materials
  • Facilitate coordination with suppliers on Root Cause Analysis investigations, overseeing the implementation and validation of effective Corrective Actions
  • Represent Collins Supplier Quality in Failure Review Boards, Technical Interchange meetings, and other critical program reviews, both onsite and virtually as necessary
  • Act as a pivotal Supply Chain liaison for Notice of Change (NOC) and supplier inquiries within the program
  • Orchestrate and execute regular visits to key suppliers to verify corrective actions, conduct comprehensive Manufacturing Process Reviews, and perform Gemba walks as required
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, effectively influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrate outstanding presentation skills, proficiently analyzing and presenting data to all tiers of leadership
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001, Quality Management System (QMS) standards
  • P evious experience in conducting root cause analysis for moderate to complex nonconformities and implementation of effective corrective actions.
  • Previous experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Previous shop floor manufacturing experience or direct program support in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Supplier Management, Project Management and Change Management experience
  • Expertise in manufacturing Special Processes & related industry organizations (Nadcap)
  • Experience with continuous improvement, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc
  • Experience in conducting supplier process and compliance audits
  • AS9145, Six Sigma Green/Black belt, and/or CQE certifications
  • Workingknowledge/familiarityIPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 Soldering experience, GD&T tolerancing, and AS9138
