Workers will be required to landscape and maintain grounds of property using hand and power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which include any combination of edging, mulching, tree planting, cleanup of job-site, planting, maintaining grass and other plant-life, weeding, watering, mowing and trimming of plants. No education or prior work experience is required. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects and tools consistent with aforementioned duties. Employer will offer 40 hours of work per week with opportunities for over-time as needed by employer. Work hours vary but typically include Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p. Work on Saturdays may be required in place of another day or as overtime. Workers are needed to begin work on 04/01/2025 through 11/15/2025. Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout Allegheny and Washington Counties. Locations of worksites will change daily as necessary. Workers will be paid no less than $17.75 per hour. Overtime hours may vary, depending on weather conditions, and will be paid at 1.5 times base rate per hour. Employer will provide on-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly on Friday, by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law and a deduction for the reasonable value of employer-provided housing, if elected. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. The amount for daily subsistence will be at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location at the Washington County office. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations in Washington and Allegheny Counties. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
