Job Summary of the Talent Acquisition Specialist The Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for providing support for our talent acquisition function while assisting other functions within the HR department such as employee relations, talent management, and talent development. This is a full-time on-site position based in Vandalia, OH reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition. This position is responsible for scheduling complex interview agendas with multiple leaders, interviewing and selecting qualified temporary and hourly employees, as well as tracking and reporting on hiring metrics. Requirements of the Talent Acquisition Specialist * High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred * At least 3 years of Recruiting or Staffing experience * Experience managing and negotiating with agencies is preferred * Experience reviewing and assisting with creating job descriptions is preferred * Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word * Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency; ability to prioritize * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times * Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; Greenhouse preferred * Complex scheduling experience is strongly preferred Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist The specific duties of the Talent Acquisition Specialist include but are not limited to: * Oversees the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding for temporary and direct hire positions while creating a positive first impression for candidates and new hires.
