Parametrix Transportation Senior Engineer- III in Vancouver, Washington

Parametrix is seeking a Transportation Engineer III-Senior for our Oregon/Idaho region. This position would join the Portland office where we have a team of dedicated & established team of Transportation professionals. This position will have flexibility to work a hybrid schedule and come into the office and for mentorship, project, and client collaboration. Parametrix is working on critical and innovative projects within the Metro region such as BRT and light rail design, bridge replacements, roadway upgrades, and complete streets projects. These projects address equity, improve safety, incorporate climate and are multimodal. WHO YOU ARE: Relationship Focused & Connected: Interested in supporting our existing client relationships and helping us build new ones through positive client interactions and successful project delivery. Over time this position will be involved with identifying strategic opportunities and implementing successful pursuit strategies. Technically Focused: Can support and lead the delivery of various transportation and multidisciplinary design projects focused on transit, roadway, corridors, intersections, roundabouts, and active transportation. Experienced Task Lead: BSCE and 5+ years of A&E Consulting Experience. PE License strongly preferred or the ability to obtain. Proven task lead able to successfully deliver key components of projects and with a strong interest in developing into a project manager. Collaborator: Our existing team is dedicated and can provide crucial support. Strong team orientation and the ability to successfully integrate and collaborate within the transportation division and across all disciplines is a key to success at Parametrix. Hard Working: You care deeply about delivering for your clients and your quality work reflects this. The transportation team works hard and is looking for someone to support them as they effectively deliver projects. You are self-motivated, but also thrive in a team environment. You enjoy a variety of challenging projects and work environments.
