Do you know of anyone interested in providing administrative, fiscal and payroll support in a busy academic environment? WSU Vancouver has an Administrative Assistant 2 position to consider!

 

Summary of Duties

 

Under general supervision, provide comprehensive administrative support to the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS) and the College of Education (COE) Vancouver faculty and staff. Perform a variety of clerical and office management tasks to ensure efficient operations.

 

Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills to effectively support academic units' operations and personnel.

 

Required Qualifications

 

One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 1 OR a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or closely allied field and two years of responsible office experience at the senior clerical level or higher.

 

Clerical or office work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. Graduate study may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Experience using computer accounting information systems and/or applications software.

 

• Experience with budget and grant management.

 

• Administrative experience.

 

Essential Duties:

 

60% Clerical support

 

30% Fiscal support and payroll

 

5% Safety and compliance

 

5% Other duties as assigned.
