Description

We are offering a contract to permanent opportunity for an Accounting Specialist located in Vance, Alabama, United States. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable tasks, such as invoice sorting, entry, and matching with purchase orders

• Manage accounts receivable operations

• Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in invoices

• Prepare and analyze account summaries

• Generate weekly and monthly financial reports

• Validate expense reports for accuracy

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to perform various tasks

• Assist in the month-end closing process.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is required.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience with Purchase Orders is a plus.

• Ability to handle Expense Reports is expected.
