Job Title: Electrical TechnicianJob Description

Review electrical drawings and site-specific designs to prepare for construction. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, ammeters, volt meters, cable tracers, etc. as required. Install electrical equipment necessary for RNG construction projects, including DC/AC wiring, junction boxes, conduit, VFDs, disconnects, etc. Troubleshoot issues with new and existing systems. Assist or consult in the electrical scope of work to keep advancing the construction schedule. Help to ensure that electrical subcontractors are performing the electrical scope of work in accordance with project drawings and pertinent electrical code. Operate forklifts, skid loaders, mini-excavators and other equipment as directed by management. Strong knowledge and understanding of the safe use of various construction tools/equipment is desired. Assist in developing solutions related to construction challenges that may be presented on site. In partnership with Electrical and Construction Managers, as well as the Quality Engineering Manager, ensure installations are of high quality and consistent with industry standards.

Essential Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.

• Strong electrical aptitude.

• Experience with maintenance and preventive maintenance.

• Proficiency with hand tools.

• Strong people skills.

Work Environment

Work will primarily take place on farms around Northwest Ohio, with travel required from site to site, including overnight stays in the area. The typical schedule will be four 10-hour days, with weekends at home.
