The Benton Community School District (BCSD) is seeking teachers to fill the following elementary summer literacy positions: Teachers for our summer Elementary (grades K - 3rd) summer literacy and reading program.

Dates/Schedule

Monday - Thursday

8:15 - 11:15 AM

July 2024

Our summer instruction will take place at our Atkins Elementary Center and Keystone Elementary Center for all grade levels (1st - 3rd)Qualifications

Certification/License:

  • State Certification as an Elementary Teacher

  • State Certification in the appropriate grade level preferred.

Education

  • Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.

  • or Masters Degree in related area preferred.

ExperiencePreferred - Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels a plus.FLSA Status: Exempt

Benton Community Schools is a PK-12 public school located in east central Iowa. The District has four student attendance centers: Atkins Elementary Center (PK-3), Keystone Elementary Center (PK-3), Norway Intermediate Center (4-6), and the MS/HS (7-12).
