NEW ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEXT-GEN PRODUCTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION & AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES!!!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves 60% electrical design, schematics, and BOM/part generation, 20% shop production assistance, and 20% customer assistance. Key responsibilities include working with electrical schematics, designing in AutoCAD, creating BOMs, VFD sizing, programming, and troubleshooting. You will interact with customers to troubleshoot operational issues like VFD control and general electrical control, perform electrical circuit load calculations, assist electrical shop personnel with in-house testing, and power up/troubleshoot control systems including electrical power circuits, control circuits, light PLC programming, VFD programming/set up, and systems testing.

MUST HAVE:

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a similar field

  • 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience

  • AutoCAD panel layout / electrical design

  • Significant experience with VFDs (variable frequency drives) and experience walking customers through VFD troubleshooting issues

  • Willingness to talk with customers over the phone to troubleshoot electrical issues

PLUS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • EPLAN
