Position Description:

The purpose of this position is to provide custodial care services to assigned building(s) on the campus grounds. Perform general cleaning to maintain the facilities in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition. This person will be responsible for custodial duties, which include but are not limited to, cleaning, dusting, washing, and moving furniture. The successful candidate will assist with the set-up of facilities and be available for special events. They will also be the direct report for student workers, take part in professional development and safety, and perform other duties as assigned.

Available Positions/Hours:

Robertson/Mythaler Halls: 7:00am-4:00pm

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; valid Drivers License; ability to lift and move 50 pounds; ability to perform routine custodial duties; prior cleaning or custodial experience; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; experience using e-mail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of maintenance and operation of various custodial equipment; institutional or industrial custodial experience; ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally clearly and professionally; experience with computers.

Compensation:

$28,000 - $30,000

annually and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
