Touro University Temporary Curriculum Administrative Assistant in Valhalla, New York
Overview
Supporting the efforts of the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education and reporting to the Phase One Co-Directors and Assistant Dean for Basic Sciences, the Curriculum Administrator will assist with the overall management and coordination of Foundational Science curriculum. This position will provide direct support to Phase One module co-directors to facilitate their efforts to deliver the M.D. Program curriculum.
Responsibilities
Overall Foundational Science curriculum administration, which includes:
Assisting module directors with organization and coordination of teaching schedules
Managing space reservations for all educational sessions and placing information in campus resource scheduler
Communicating with teaching faculty regarding schedules
Student Absence and grade timeliness tracking
Send faculty teaching session meeting invites and attestations.
Administrative support for Learning Management System (LMS),which includes:
Review student schedules for conflicts during scheduled multi-session events
Administrative support for student assessment, which includes:
Assisting faculty with report generation and distribution to students after examinations
Assist with coordination of computer-based examinations administered, including:
Arranging proctors for all examinations
Acting as proctor / basic support during exams when required
Print materials and provide support for exam review sessions
Streamline communication and reporting among:
Office of Undergraduate Medical Education (UME)
Phase 1 Directors
Module Co-Directors
Office of Student Affairs
Office of Academic Support
Office of the Registrar
Office of Educational Technology (EdTech)
Facilities
Additional tasks pertaining to administration of the curriculum, as determined by the UME Office Administration.
Qualifications
Education requirement:Bachelor’s Degree
Technical/computer skills:
Must be facile in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Prefer experience with online learning management systems
Basic computer troubleshooting skills.
Prior experience:3-5 Years in higher education administration
Other skills:
Outstanding ability to learn new technical skills
Outstanding interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, and to meet deadlines

Minimum Salary
USD $39,996.00/Yr.
Maximum Salary
USD $49,995.40/Yr.
