Description
The Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of master planning, production planning, material planning and inventory management. Lead and support projects to improve the performance of planning and execution to achieve the goal.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate cross-functional SIOP activities for forecasting, material planning, capacity planning and production scheduling to maximize plant performance for key metrics including revenue fulfillment, on time delivery, lead-time optimization and inventory management.
Formulate production master plan, organize to make and review production plan, schedule and production targets, organize the implementation and monitoring, identify and monitor key risks, make solutions timely, ensure the maximum efficiency.
Work with cross function on capacity planning, analyze the capacity utilization at each process and identify the bottlenecks if any and make proposals to management for decision.
According to production capacity, production cycle and order delivery time etc., make production requirement analysis, propose the manpower, tool and equipment etc. which required for production, make systematic analysis of production data, establish a mechanism for balancing capacity requirements and for early warning.
Review business orders and sales forecast, to be interface with commercial operation team, reply the order review results, coordinate purchasing, production, customer service and other aspects.
Weekly review factory capacity loading based on customer order and forecast, also include potential forecast assessment. To balance loading in production, and adjust priority based on customer requirement.
Monitor production status, coordinate related departments to solve problems, adjust production plan if needed.
Drive and monitor KPI performance, analyze the root cause, identify actions and proposals, drive process improvement.
Improve material planning accuracy to ensure the production according to production plan and maintain inventory at reasonable levels.
Ensure shortage analysis is performed by planning team on timely manner, in order to ascertain control on material availability in plant.
Review and analyze aging raw material and aging WIP regularly, generate slow moving stock report on at least monthly basis, schedule the meeting to drive the improvement.
Analyze and dispose E&O timely.
Implement and develop the needed processes and tools to perform the required planning activities.
Develop and implement lean planning methods to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Provide the effective leadership to the team. Ensure the team is properly trained to achieve the performance goal.
Work all tasks assigned by supply chain manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

BS degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other related discipline. MS or MBA preferred.
5+ years progressive experience in Manufacturing Planning, Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Operations Management
Experience managing multiple direct reports
Experience in capacity planning and use of statistical analysis
Experience with ERP systems required. Experience with Oracle preferred. Experience implementing ERP and MES systems preferred.
Demonstrated experience deploying lean methodologies
Strong working knowledge of MS Suite including advance skills with Microsoft Excel
Detail oriented and thorough
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and influence cross-functionally
Excellent written and oral communication skills
APICS certification preferred
Job flexibility: this position requires you to be flexible for weekend work as required or the flexibility to work a different schedule when needed as directed by Management.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting base pay for this role is targeted to be between $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
