High Reliability Operator (2nd shift)

Description

Inspects electronic assemblies, subassemblies, parts, and components for defects by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts variety of electronic tests on capacitors to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to detect if the capacitors fail.

  • Reads test form to understand customer test specifications, works with backlog and WIP to locate parts in the computer system, read and understands test work instructions, performance according to specifications, and determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.

  • Tests functional performance of parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, voltage, and humidity. Sets up test instruments according to specifications.

  • Connects capacitors to be tested to test equipment. Reads dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, temperature, humidity and capacitance/df. Compares results with specifications and records test data and test results on inspection and testing forms.

  • Analyzes test results on defective units to determine if the product meets the customer’s specification. Maintains manual or computerized records of production and inspection data. The high reliability loading and maintenance operator will also assemble boards, repair fixtures, load heavier trays to ovens.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting salary pay for this role is targeted to be between $18.00 to $20.00

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company.
