Summary of Position:

This position is a key role in the organization supporting business operations. The position will support various aspects of financial reporting and planning for the organization. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and be a good fit. This position supports various aspects of the financial cycle including, but not limited to, working with financial close and month end reporting, assisting in various audits, and monitoring various metrics of the business to aide in daily operational decisions.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

  • 1-3 years of related experience

  • CPA preferred

  • Healthcare experience preferred

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in managing goals through collaboration and teamwork

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required

  • Ability to apply strong problem solving techniques

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required

  • Experienced and skilled with reconciliations

  • Must prioritize and plan work activities effectively, using time efficiently.

  • Must observe safety and security procedures and use company equipment and materials properly.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Record monthly revenues, expenses, and activity

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements

  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process

  • Perform monthly reconciliations

  • Perform reasonableness tests for payroll accruals

  • Prepare financial statement disclosures for corporate

  • Review general ledger activity for compliance with GAAP and internal policies

  • Review capital expenditures monthly

  • Review purchasing card activity

  • Reconcile cash receipts to accounting system daily

  • Prepare intracompany invoices

  • Report monthly financial statistics to corporate

  • Prepare and file sales tax return

    Secondary Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in process/quality improvement activities/projects of the company.

  • Performs other job duties as required.
