Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Recruitment Coordinator FT in Valdosta, Georgia

Responsible for college recruitment activities and events for all campuses and departments within the 11-county service area. These events will require some weekends and evenings. The Recruitment Coordinator will supervise the Recruitment Specialist and be expected to understand all Admission requirements, Financial Aid options, and be familiar with all program information. The incumbent will work with the Academic Affairs Department to understand and assist with their recruiting needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and attending general college recruitment events, as well as organizing college staff participation. These events include, but are not limited to, career fairs, high school events, campus tours, and information sessions. The incumbent will be required to create and implement an Annual Recruitment Plan and Goals, evaluate the methods used to include all student populations, and track recruitment efforts in terms of response and conversion to accepted and registered students. S/He must represent the college in a manner which supports the values, mission, goals, and standard of professional conduct associated with the Technical College System of Georgia.

SUMMARY OF WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, Regular use of college owned or personal vehicle for performance of duties.
  • Working Conditions: Category III - No foreseen exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. Probability of working beyond the normal shift, but not frequently. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in a closely related field and Two (2) years of related work experience. Work experience must be directly related to recruitment, community relations, or Enrollment Management at a college or university within the University System of Georgia or the Technical College System of Georgia.
