Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. This role primarily involves improving existing accounting processes, documenting procedures, and assisting in the training of new hires. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for managing account reconciliations, month-end close, and data analysis tasks. This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term involvement.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

• Manage month-end close procedures and ensure timely completion

• Conduct simple analysis with light data manipulation using Microsoft Excel

• Document processes and procedures for future reference

• Assist in training new hires on accounting processes and procedures

• Work with Infor for necessary tasks

• Suggest and implement process improvements when possible

• Actively participate in the transition of manual processes to automated ones.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger

• Capable of managing Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Infor M3 software

• Proven abilities in Process Improvement

• Experience in creating Process Documentation

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is desired

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of accounting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
