Resource Center for Independent Living Administrative Assistant in Utica, New York
35 Hour work week
Non-Exempt Salary: $35,000
Benefits:
PTO – vacation (16-24 days a year based on longevity). Sick leave 12 days a year, and 13 paid holidays.
Ability to work a 4-day schedule after 6 months on the job. Multiple work schedules available.

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Collaborate and support Advocacy staff and projects as needed.
Attend all Advocacy meetings and trainings while taking minutes.
Provide back-up, information, and referral services. Complete intakes and enter them into database. Make referrals as needed.
Provide back-up to receptionist as needed.
Retain and file all correspondence as required to assist in maintaining complaint and up-to-date files.
Education:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An associate’s degree is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Two years of clerical support and administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Organizational and communication skills.
Office machines including fax, copier, and scanner. Knowledge of ADP is preferred.
Excellent customer service , organizational skills, oral and written communication.
