We are looking for a Sr. Product Owner to join the Experian Automotive marketing product team. Your role will be critical to support revenue generation through innovation for our broad range of automotive marketing solutions in the OEM, dealer, lender, agency, and strategic alliance space. You will help define and execute new product features to achieve success of our overall product strategy.

You are passionate about working in the automotive industry and serving our customers with the best marketing solutions. You should be able to work with people at all levels. We are looking for a team player and a positive influencer. We ask that you have many interactions cross-functionally with the ability to provide clear direction to our development team. You will report to Experian's Vice President, Product Management. You will be remote-friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of new and existing products in the marketing product portfolio of solutions.

  • Manage the marketing plans for the solutions.

  • Conduct marketing strategy and market research related to a broad range of marketing solutions including audiences, attribution, identity and more.

  • Forecast and monitors achievement to product goals.

  • Design and launch marketing solutions for OEMs, dealers, agencies, platforms, and business development opportunities.

  • Monitor activities and ensures adherence to company policy and federal laws and regulations.

  • Help research competition and client use cases to improve product development.

  • Oversee backlog prioritization, sprint planning and other agile development.

  • Be a liaison between business and technology teams to move development through the product life cycle.

  • Solve problems at the detailed level, using the latest agile technical approaches with an understanding of data requirements and capabilities, functional usability, technical design, and software development supporting a next-generation product line and core products.

  • Collaborate with clients and other departments to create detailed data and functional requirements from SMEs and create business requirements, technical and function specifications, and user stories that will help develop our product capabilities.

  • Conduct in depth reviews to identify potential data quality, product, and product user experience issues. Conducts root cause analysis to identify short-term and long-term recommendations for potential remedy or improvement.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to help establish process and documentation for existing and new products. Work with Product Marketing to create and transition concepts to sales collateral and other sales enablement materials.

  • Create performance metric reports for benchmarking using data visualization to provide clear value-added input that management or customers can render actionable insights with the information. Track ongoing progress for products and pilot programs.

  • Work with support, contracting, compliance, and credentialing teams to onboard product pilot clients.

  • 8+ years of automotive experience and industry knowledge required, including business analysis and product management.

  • High degree of experience with marketing solutions

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in full product development lifecycle in an agile environment and ability to write requirements for development and guide projects through completion.

  • Experience in project/product launch and running pilots.

  • Experienced in all aspects of business and data analysis.

  • Hands-on experience creating concept flows, uses cases, functional modeling.

  • Strongly empathetic with varying customer types and how our products can satisfy their needs.

  • Will work within a team, handle feedback, and creatively engage and debate with colleagues.
